QR codes placed next to the surviving wooden grave-marker crosses in Cheltenham’s unique WWI Battlefield Crosses Museum now take visitors directly to each soldier’s story.
Cheltenham Civic Society has now placed QR codes next to each of the soldiers’ grave-marker crosses in the town’s Battlefield Crosses Museum. Each QR code takes museum visitors (via their phones) directly to that soldier’s story while they are standing in front of his cross.
The soldiers’ stories – as originally researched by students of Pittville School – are hosted on the museum’s new website – https://cheltenham-battlefield-crosses.org/
Donations from Mason & Stokes and the Spirax Group have helped to fund this enhancement of the museum for visitors.
