Events update: Civic Awards date moves to Monday 13th December

Posted on October 22, 2021

The biennial Civic Awards event run by Cheltenham Civic Society in partnership with Cheltenham Borough Council has had to be moved from 6th December to Monday 13th December. It will now take place at 7.30pm in Pip & Jim’s Church on Grafton Road, Leckhampton, with all members and friends welcome to come along.

With the Mayor and many councillors in attendance, this year’s awards will be announced for a variety categories including new buildings, restorations, refurbishments, environmental schemes and shopfronts.

The aim of the Awards is to celebrate the best in design, craftsmanship and placemaking in the town.

As well as postponing this event, the Society has had to cancel the event that had been planned for Monday 8th November.
